How it works
What happens, what you pay and what you end up owning.
We talk
A free 20-minute chat by phone or video. If I'm not the right help, I'll say so.
You get it in writing
The price, what's included and the dates, before any work starts.
You see it early
You see real work as it goes, and I tell you plainly if something is running late.
You own it
Once it's paid for, the finished work is yours. I'll list any parts that belong to someone else, such as fonts or music.
The questions behind those steps.
Who will I actually deal with?
Me, Michael Onwukwe. There's no account manager to get past.
Have you done this for someone like me nearby?
This company is new in Scotland, so I don't have a list of local clients yet. Look at the Work page, ask what's relevant to you, and judge me on that.
Couldn't I get this free?
Sometimes, yes. Business Gateway offers free start-up advice, and local voluntary-sector support bodies help community groups. They're good places to begin. I'm useful when you need the work actually made.
How quickly will you reply?
Within one working day. If something is running late, I'll tell you before you have to ask.
How much do I pay upfront?
Never the full price. The deposit and stages are set out in your written price.
What does it cost after launch?
Your written price will list any running costs, such as hosting and your domain. Small changes are priced before I do them.
Will I own my animation, website and logo?
Yes, once it's paid for, and I'll set that out in writing. Your domain is registered in your name, and you get the files. Anything that belongs to someone else, such as a font, music or a tool's output, is listed with what you can do with it.
Do you use AI tools?
Sometimes, as part of making the work. I'll tell you where in your written price, and you can say if you'd rather I didn't.
What do you need from me?
Usually a short chat, whatever you already have, and quick answers when I have a question. For funding bids, I'll also need the fund's details and your group's information.
Can you promise we'll win the funding?
No, and be careful of anyone who does.
